DEMETER officially started on 20 September 2016, with the kick-off meeting held at the Genencor/DUPONT premises in Leiden (Netherlands).
Genencor International, Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, Miavit, Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum Gemeinnuetzige, Organic Waste Systems, Ciaotech PNO, Biomoer Energie are the partners involved in this innovative project. Partners are currently successfully carrying out the activities planned in the 3 year life project.
The project – funded under the topic H2020-BBI.D7-2015 – will demonstrate a yield increase and cost reduction of the production process of a C1-based biogas enzyme as well as its positive effect on biogas production in Europe.
